Julianne Arvizu, Coordinator

As the Coordinator of Inspire Your Future for the North Suburban Chicago area, Julianne Arvizu works with participating high schools to ensure students know about and have access to Inspire Your Future and Career Cruising, recruits and manages business relationships and monitors all online communication between students and career coaches and all postings on company message boards. 

Julianne comes to Inspire Your Future with experience connecting students and educators with local business through her work managing the Manufacturing Expo at Oakton Community College for the past six years. She has a passion for programs that foster a sense of community and enjoys working to bring people together.

Julianne has an interesting career history - television writer and producer, managing director of Angel City Chorale, employee benefits and insurance executive, singer, and volleyball coach. Julianne and her husband live in Skokie and have three young children. They volunteer in their school district (District 69), are active in their church (Central United Methodist Church), sing
with the Park Ridge Chorale, and support their business community, especially efforts to revitalize Downtown Skokie.

Martha Eldredge Stark

Ms. Eldredge Stark is currently executive director of NSERVE, a career & technical education consortium of nine high schools in the northern suburbs of Chicago, representing approximately 24,000 secondary students.  She has previously been Education to Careers Director for the same area.  Additionally, she served as Regional Coordinator for Business Services for The Workforce Boards of Metropolitan Chicago, and Coordinator for Experiential Education at Mundelein High School, placing students in internships and apprenticeships, and significantly increasing the district’s business partnerships.  

In her current position, Ms. Eldredge Stark has established business partnerships with Northwestern University’s Office of STEM Education Partnerships, the Illinois Science and Technology Coalition, iBIO Institute, the NE3i (Nanotechnology) Initiative, Project Lead the Way, and the TMA.  She has served on the Illinois Dual Credit Task Force, the Illinois R & D STEM Learning Exchange Steering Committee, the Illinois Review Team for the Next Generation Science Standards, and the Project Lead the Way State Leadership Team.  She is a frequent presenter at regional, state and national conferences.  

Martha and her husband count, among many blessings, their children and grandchildren, travelling adventures
and rare moments of relaxation! 

Mary Anne Brown

Mary Anne Brown joined NSERVE as the Executive Administrative Assistant in July 2015 and works with Martha Eldredge Stark in managing State and Federal Grants for high schools in the north suburban area. Mary Anne is working closely with Julianne Arvizu on Inspire Your Future and is pleased to be a part of this new venture helping students find their career path. 

Mary Anne worked in academic publishing in the UK before immigrating to the United States in 1997. She and her family have lived in Skokie for 18+ years and she has always been very involved in the Skokie schools that her two children attended. She is currently President of the Fairview District 72 School Board and her children are now both college students.
